Who We Are

The Global Bhutanese Community of Colorado (GBCC) is a non-profit social organization founded by the Bhutanese community in Colorado. Our mission is to support Bhutanese and other refugee communities during their transition to self-sufficiency, helping them integrate into mainstream American life.

We are committed to empowering individuals and families through education, cultural exchange, advocacy, and networking, ensuring a smoother transition into their new environment while preserving their cultural identity.

Preserve, protect, and promote diverse Bhutanese language, religion, culture, and traditions while respecting the traditions of other communities.

Foster close relationships with communities, organizations, and institutions in Colorado to help people access jobs, education, and training.

Work toward establishing a trust fund and actively seek donations to support and fulfill the organization’s vision.
